The California state budget is in bad shape. I personally don't agree with all of the new propositions but want to make it clear that they're not just some b-s threats from Arnold and the democratic legislature. Opponents say that the propositions will not "fix" the state's budget--it was never intended to cure anything. Our state is on life support. Services for everyday people will be lost. Police officers, firefighters, and educators WILL lose their jobs either way the propositions go. It comes down to damage control. No one has come up with an alternative to solve California's budget crisis. Most days I'm an idealist but a wise woman once taught me the art of compromise.
Take the high road.
